NIS2 in Hungary — transposition status and what’s changed

Hungary’s transposition is built on Act XXIII of 2023 on Cybersecurity Certification and Cybersecurity Supervision, with NIS2-aligned amendments completed in 2024. The supervisory authority is SZTFH — Szabályozott Tevékenységek Felügyeleti Hatósága. Hungarian rules include a specific national audit cadence requirement for certain essential entity categories.
